We live in a busy world. While we’re working, caring for our families and our homes, new innovations and inventions are created all the time. But unless you stumble upon the story in a magazine at your dentist’s office or it makes the 10 o’clock news, how can you keep up? That’s why we’re bringing you our “What’s New?” issue. It’s always a quick-read filled with information we know you’ll enjoy.

Before selling your homes in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Carrollton, Addison, Irving, Grapevine, Mesquite, Garland, Prosper, Little Elm, Euless, Southlake and surrounding DFW areas you may want to fix little things by yourself which makes a sense before putting your house on the Dallas real estate market, you want your house to be on tip top shape. Here is a quick tip…

What’s the solution to a squeaky house?

Silicone-in-a-can, available at home and hardware stores, as well as on-line, is a quick and inexpensive fix for a sliding glass door that squeaks, creaky interior doors, windows, and just about anything in a home.

Silicone has been used to lubricate metal and other materials for many years, because of its ability to adhere to a variety of materials and eliminate the friction that causes squeaks. Silicone is also quick-drying and waterproof.

Silicone is safe and effective for use on metal, rubber, vinyl and wood materials. In addition to smoothing the tracks of doors and windows, it can be used on an automatic garage door, valves, and pulleys, as well as many other applications.

Thanks to this great information from Mark Stephens from Stephens Home inspection service that they have monthly “who knew” newsletter which is very helpful little tips regarding repairs on the house or new inventions that anybody can use daily. Contact me if you need his information.
