Plano Balloon Festival 2010

If you are thinking about what you should do today and tomorrow, go and see the well known Plano Balloon festival at Oak Point Park , 2801 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75074

Big hot air balloons will fill the Plano Sky, if you are around North Dallas Area you may also chance to see them. Every year, this event has a lot of participants.

At the evening you will see the Glowoing Balloons’ colors, amazing show for every age. Great time to take lots of nice pictures that you will remember all year long. It might be great idea to take family pictures with a colorful balloon scenes at the back. There are going to be 60 big hot air balloons from different shape and colors. The featured Special Shapes for this year include three shapes that are new to this great Plano Festival; Clowning Around, Lady Bug, and Shroom with a View. Returning again this year is the always popular High Jack.

Overwhelming sense of delight spreads over you when approximately 95,000 attendees experience the wonders of the InTouch Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival September 17, 18, & 19, 2010.

The Plano Balloon Festival Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 agency that is dedicated to producing a family oriented, high quality event that offers other local non-profits an opportunity to assist in the operations of the Festival. Their objective is to offer the participating non-profit agencies an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their programs and services…thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us.

There are nice parachute shows, concerts while having picnic with your friends and family.

$5 per person 1-time admission
$8 per person day ticket – 2-time admission
$4 per person discounted admission 9:00AM – 3:00PM
$1 off for Seniors 65 and over

$10.00 per car plus per person entrance fee

Off Site Parking

Plano Centre – 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway
Cost: $5.00 per car plus per person entrance fee

Collin Creek Church – 1905 E. Parker Road

Alternate routes from Central Expressway include:
Exiting at George Bush / 190, Plano Parkway, Park Blvd., or Parker Rd.
Travel eastward to Jupiter Road and continue north.
Follow the signs for the nearest parking lot.

Spring Creek Parkway between Jupiter and Parker Roads will be closed to traffic.
TOWING WILL BE ENFORCED IN NO PARKING AREAS.
