Trader Joe’s is in Plano..They just opened it today Friday September 7th, 2012  morning. Southern California Specialty Grocery Chain is very famous with No Artificial Flavors or Colors, No Preservatives food their own brand Trader Joe’s products. This 14,000sqft grocery chain is on Northeast Corner of Park and Preston in Plano.

They say it is going to be pretty croweded this weekend but everything would be just fresh!!

After you dine remember to feed the giraffes and watch the elephants. Well known Granada Theater welcomes the local folk pop duo drops latest album Marry a Stranger from Kirtland Records.  There is another surprise Jaret and Erik from Bowling for Soup will perform at 9pm and The Cush, the Triangleheads perform at 8pm.

Granada Theater built in 1946 by Phil Isley, opened during the Golden Age of Hollywood as a 700 seated Movie Theater. Lovely theater showed many well-known classic Hollywood films from Marlon Brando to Audrey Hepburn. The Granada Theater is a great example of Art Deco and classic style of those years. Over the years Granada hasn’t changed as an architecture but management and style has changed couple time. Granada opened doors again in 2004 as a better music venue with improved lights and sound system for Dallas music lovers. You will certainly have different experience at this lovely atmosphere that you will definitely enjoy.

This is the name of the event at Cotton Cowl Stadium on August 11,2012…Blondes Vs. Brunettes means 22 girls running each other down on a football field for a good cause. The hugely popular event is benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. The ladies hope to raise $275,000 this year.

This weekend is all about Dogs! There are many dog friendly events in Dallas that you can join with your furry friends. If you do not have a furry friend, you can still join to support these wonderful rescue groups.
There is a famous Project Pugway fashion show at the DFW Airport Hotel, 4440 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. This event is for the benefit of Pug Rescue. Great event include a bake sale, silent auction, photo booth, candy bar, vendors and more. Joining this event you will have lots of fun while supporting the community.

You will see the stylish pugs with the outfits from categories of spring, summer, fall, winter and, new this year homemade category.

Celebrate Oak Cliff’s Reunion French Colony with the other Dallas Residents at Bishop Arts.

Hop in your cars and come straight to 408 N. Bishop Ave. at West Davis Street, Dallas because Bastille Day is being celebrated in the Bishop Arts District today. We had a blast last year. It is a
fun street fair to celebrate the French holiday with various activities. I would advise bringing cash as many of the outdoor vendors don’t have credit card access. You will have to park in the neighborhoods and walk to the event area.  DO NOT PARK in any Business Parking Lot…as they love to tow!!!

Go Oak Cliff, Alliance Francaise of Dallas and the French American Chamber of Commerce are partnering up July 14th to celebrate the 3rd Annual Bastille on Bishop! Head out to the Bishop Arts District to take part in the festivities which will include: a Mussels Competition with top area chefs, crepe stands in the street, live accordion music, petanque demonstrations, a wine walk, vespa rally, classic French cars, French maid relays and more!

The mussles chefs will be cooking on propane burners in the street and the judges will narrow the field to a single winner after three rounds of elimination! Tres Bien!

 National Cheerleaders Association Championships in Dallas this weekend which is great opportunity to see how they improved their skills, focus, strength, agility with many hours of practice. This couple minutes long performances inspire all the others who had chance to watch.

They wore ponytail ribbons and glistened under layers of silvery eye shadow and red-tinged blush.
